Barmer: Rajasthan CM and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot reached Jasol village under Barmer on Monday morning. He met the family members of those killed in the Jasol tragedy and consoled them.14 people were killed and about 50 others injured when a pandal collapsed during a Ram Katha on Sunday in the government school complex of Jasol. The injured are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

Ashok Gehlot went to Jaso; village along with the State Health Minister Raghu Sharma, Revenue Minister Harish Chaudhary, Energy Minister BD Kalla and other leaders. He met the family members of the deceased and paid tribute to the victims. Ashok Gehlot also rushed to the spot and got information about the incident from the authorities. Ashok Gehlot also discussed with the locals.

Gehlot told the press after meeting the family members of the deceased, "It is a very unfortunate incident. It will be examined," he said, also inspected the arrangements in the hospital. Earlier, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and MP from Barmer Lok Sabha seat Kailash Chaudhary also met the injured in the hospital.
