According to a recent update, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina is set to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe global finale in Mexico this November. The announcement was widely shared, celebrating her success and the honor of the title.

After receiving the crown, Adetshina emphasized that her victory symbolizes more than just beauty; it is a call for unity. She expressed her gratitude and commitment to representing Nigeria with pride.

The 23-year-old, who was born and raised in South Africa to a Nigerian father and Mozambican mother, has faced several controversies. She initially entered the Miss Universe Nigeria competition as Miss Taraba after withdrawing from Miss South Africa amid negative online comments and accusations of fraud.

The Miss Universe Nigeria competition was a showcase of elegance and intelligence, featuring 25 contestants. After a stunning display of evening gowns, the top five finalists were announced: Chidimma Adetshina (Miss Taraba), Paula Ezendu (Miss Anambra), Brittany Edeifo (Miss Edo), Peace Olamide Ayegbidun (Miss Ondo), and Nyekachi Douglas (Miss Rivers).

The final results saw Miss Ondo awarded as Miss Lush, Miss Anambra as the first runner-up, and Chidimma Adetshina as the overall winner. In addition to her title, Adetshina will receive N10 million in cash and other prizes.
