The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the Eklavya series in schools in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. The Eklavya series will be introduced in schools with the goal of clarifying NEP and demonstrating how to properly apply NEP 2020 in schools.

The series will feature an interactive online educational programme that will include a variety of hands-on activities, projects, and models that will aid in the conceptual understanding of various topics, as well as thought-provoking questions and assignments that encourage creative thinking outside the box, such as why Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin at 36 degrees and inspiring DIY(do it yourself) project videos using local material which relates the curriculum to life. 

The registration procedure, which began on September 10, 2021, is now mandatory and free of cost. Neeraj Chopra and Newton's laws of motion will be the subject of the first episode, which will air on September 26.

According to the Board's announcement, the curriculum will be of different levels and will include themes from the Science and Mathematics Curriculum for grades 6 through 12. The live episodes are available on the CCL IITGN's official YouTube channel. The cost of a participation certificate for each module as well as a Certificate of Competency for the entire course is $100 tax.
