The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examinations for classes 10 and 12 which started on 15 February with more than 38.00 lakh students appearing for the exam at 7,250 centres. The Class 10 examinations are being conducted in 76 subjects and will be finished on March 21 while Class 12 exams will cover 115 subjects and will be over on April 5.

The CBSE has released a new set of guidelines in which it stated that all examination centres and schools supporting students for Grades X and XII Exams are advised of the following discussions with the stakeholders.

The plastic bags will be used for the packing of the answer books only when answer books are sent to the concerned Regional Office through postal services after the conduct of examinations.  Plastic bags won't be utilised if the sealed response book packages are brought to the regional office personally or with the assistance of the city coordinator.

WhatsApp messages sent during the exam for whatever reason cannot be used to communicate with the CBSE or any other authority about exam-related matters.

Almost 38.83 lakh students will take the tests, which are being held at 7,250 centres across India and in 26 other countries, according to Board authorities.

"CBSE has put together complex plans. The CBSE has distributed comprehensive guidelines to all parties involved in order to guarantee that all pertinent information for the conduct of examinations is given to all relevant personnel at the examination centres "a senior board officer said.

The CBSE calendar has been set up to give students enough time for exam preparation across all courses so that they may take the exams without feeling under pressure. The official said, "According to the information gathered from all the examination centres, all preparations have been made by the centres for the efficient conduct of examinations."
As per the announcement, the date sheets were created by avoiding roughly 40,000 subject combinations to guarantee that no student's papers would be due on the same day.

The date sheet has been issued much in advance so as to enable the students to prepare well for the examinations, the Board said.
