Bhopal: Four days have passed since the resignation of the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh, but the BJP Legislature Party meeting has not been held yet. Due to the impact of Coronavirus, the meeting of BJP Legislature Party has been postponed on Monday and now the date is not fixed when the name of the new Chief Minister will be stamped. However, BJP National Vice President and former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has spoken to the party MLAs and ordered them to stay at home.
In the midst of the Coronavirus crisis, the churning continues for a new chief minister at a high level in the BJP. Even though former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan is considered a strong contender for this post, but the central leadership has not yet taken a final decision on it. Apart from Shivraj Singh, many other names are being discussed, due to which the meeting of the Legislative Party is constantly being postponed.
After the Janata curfew, there was a possibility of meeting of BJP Legislature Party in Bhopal on Monday. There was also talk of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and senior leader Vinay Sahasrabuddhe being sent as observers, but due to Coronavirus, the lockdown has been done in more than 25 districts in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP has also got the opportunity to finalize the name of the CM.
