Dehradun: A person has sent an SMS threatening to kill Bishan Singh Chufal, former BJP state president and Didihat MLA. The person has threatened to cut them like carrots through SMS using the cruelest words. On the complaint of the MLA, the police have registered the report. MLA has demanded action.

MLA Chufal has said that he received an SMS on January 21 threatening to kill him. Chufal has demanded action in this matter by sending a letter to SP Lokeshwar Singh on January 24. Superintendent of Police Lokeshwar Singh said- After receiving a complaint letter from MLA Chufal, the report has been promptly registered. Action has been ordered in the matter. Chufal has said that Anil Kapri, a resident of the local Khoona village, threatened to kill him by SMS. Police Station President Mohan Chandra Pandey said that the Kotwali police have registered the report. Police have started taking action in the matter. The SP said that prompt action will be taken in the matter.
