Price of Bitcoin today was unchanged with the world's largest and most popular digital currency trading almost flat at USD 16,870 on Tuesday, December 27.
According to data from CoinGecko, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies worldwide today stayed below the USD 1 trillion threshold and was USD 847 billion, nearly unchanged over the previous 24 hours.
Following the Christmas and New Year holidays, markets remained quiet, and the majority of cryptocurrencies traded steadily. Since it hasn't yet built up enough strength to make a meaningful shift, Bitcoin's price hasn't altered in the last 24 hours. The current level of support for BTC is USD 16,700, and the current level of resistance is USD 17,000. The CEO and Co-Founder of Mudrex, Edul Patel, stated that Ethereum purchasers are seeking to propel the price above the USD 1,352 mark in order to maintain the upward trend.
On the other side, Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency and token associated with the Ethereum network, remained nearly flat with a positive bias at USD 1,223. Shiba Inu was down at USD 0.000008 while Dogecoin was trading more than 1% down at USD 0.07 today.
Tether, Polygon, Stellar, XRP, Cardano, Litecoin, Polkadot, Chainlink, and Uniswap prices remained flat over the last 24 hours, while Solana, ApeCoin, Avalanche, and Tron prices declined. Other cryptocurrencies' performance today was uneven.
Hedge funds, the Federal Reserve's tightening of policy, the Terra/Luna ecosystem's implosion, and other major central banks raising interest rates to combat historic inflation have all had a significant negative impact on digital assets this year. Two exchanges are Three Arrows Capital and FTX.
