Noida: Greater Noida (West), which is looking for the metro for the last two years, is good news for the residents of Noida Extension. In the new year, the work of Metro service expansion will begin for this area. It is expected that CM Yogi Adityanath or PM Narendra Modi himself can lay the foundation stone of this project. Information in this regard has been received by quoting media reports.
According to media reports, the new plan is to be prepared from Sector-71 to Knowledge Park-5 of Greater Noida under Metro expansion. This distance is about 15 km. There are plans to complete this work in two phases. Recently, Greater Noida Authority has also released Rs 25 crore to NMRC. There is a plan to allocate a total amount of 2602 crores in this project.
According to Noida Authority officials, CM Yogi Adityanath is expected to be called to lay the foundation for the new project expansion. But experts are also telling that PM Narendra Modi is going to come for the foundation stone of the new airport in Greater Noida next month. It is expected that they should also lay the foundation for Metro expansion.
