Actually, now the discussion of marriage scam is going on in the state. The money-lenders also made marriage and marriage a means of loot in the state. It is estimated that crores of rupees were embezzled by fraud in a popular scheme of Shivraj government.

It is being told that the marriage scam has also been executed in a very clever way. Now the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has started its detailed investigation. This scam is also being called 'Covid-19 Wedding Scam'. In fact, during the crisis period of Corona epidemic in the country, thousands of marriages were done on paper in the state and in the name of these marriages a lot of loot was done in the government treasury. It is alleged that an organized racket took away crores of rupees from the Chief Minister's marriage scheme by showing these marriages on paper in the lockdown implemented during Corona.

Earlier it was believed that around 3,500 fake marriages were conducted in Sironj in Vidisha. But when CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered an inquiry and ED started its investigation, it was found that at least 50,000 such fake marriages took place during the lockdown. Let us inform here that under this popular scheme of Shivraj government, Rs 51,000 is given to each couple.
