Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has come out for opposition unity against PM Narendra Modi these days. For this, he had met all opposition leaders including former National President of the Congress Party Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi), current President Mallikarjun Kharge, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in recent days and discussed 'one seat, one candidate'.  

After meeting all the leaders, he has called a big meeting of the opposition in Patna on June 12, in which there was talk of the participation of both the top Congress leaders. However, the Congress party has officially ruled out any such possibility.

Encouraged by the victory in Karnataka, the Congress party has clearly said that neither Rahul Gandhi nor current national president Mallikarjun Kharge will attend this meeting to be held in Patna. A CM of a Congress-ruled state can be sent to Patna to attend this meeting. This move of the country's oldest party is being seen as a setback for Nitish Kumar in political circles.

When Nitish Kumar met Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, the results of the Karnataka elections were not revealed. After the excellent victory in this election, the attitude of the Congress has suddenly changed. Most of the party leaders want to make Rahul Gandhi the PM candidate once again. He argued that Rahul Gandhi's popularity has increased due to the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' and the victory in Karnataka is the result of this.
