How did this whole fraud happen?
Shailendra, who lives in Madiavan police station area of ​​Lucknow, received a call from an unknown number. The voice in this call was like that of his father. The caller said that he was Shailendra's father and that his phone's battery was running low. Citing an emergency, the caller asked Shailendra to immediately transfer Rs 40,000 to his bank account. When Shailendra came home and talked to his father about this, his father told him that he had not called anyone. This made Shailendra suspicious and he immediately lodged a complaint with the police. On going to the bank and investigating, it was found that the money had been transferred to an account in the name of Zarina in Haryana. The police have started investigating the matter.
