Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and patron Mulayam Singh Yadav had wrestled many times in the arena built in Saifai's fairground, but today he merged with the Panchtatva. Many big personalities including Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Sharad Pawar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Anil Ambani had reached Saifai to bid him farewell. All the leaders of various political parties gave their last farewell to Netaji on this occasion and remembered him in their own way.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev also reached Saifai to bid farewell to Netaji and gave support to Akhilesh Yadav. Baba Ramdev while talking to the media during this said, 'Netaji took the people standing in the last row forward. That is why poor and backward people called him Netaji. He lived social justice in his life. We can only salute the great warrior that he had lit the flame of socialism.' Baba Ramdev further said that when a great man tries something, the whole country stands united behind him. Netaji was not confined to Uttar Pradesh only. The whole country had a passion for him.

Baba Ramdev further said that 20 to 22 years ago he had come to Haridwar in the midst of heavy rains and inaugurated Patanjali Yogpeeth. Mulayam Singh Yadav helped us in all the battles we fought after that. For him, politics was definitely a ladder, but going beyond that, he followed Lokdharma and Rajdharma. He said that it was Mulayam Yadav who brought glory to the Yaduvanshis. 40 years ago people did not write Yadav in their surname. This pride was given by Mulayam Singh Yadav only.
