Hyderabad: AIMIM Chief and MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi have said in the context of the issuance of 'Love Jihad' ordinance in Madhya Pradesh too, that there is no mention of it anywhere in the Constitution. BJP ruled states are mocking the constitution about this. Owaisi further said that if these states have to enact a law, they should enact a law to provide minimum support price to the farmers and to provide employment to the unemployed.
Owaisi expressed strict objections to the enactment of the Love Jihad law in several BJP-ruled states, stating that no government has the right to interfere in the personal life of a citizen of the country under Articles 21, 14 and 25 of the Constitution of India. The BJP is directly violating the fundamental rights given in the Constitution.
In Madhya Pradesh as well as Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and many BJP ruled states, strict laws are being made against Love Jihad. After the adjournment of the recently held assembly session, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to implement this law through ordinance and send the ordinance to the Governor for signature.
