New Delhi: Soon after he was released from the clutches of Punjab Police and returned to Delhi, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga has challenged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal, saying he is ready to fight further legal battle. He said, 'I challenge Kejriwal that if he feels that we will stop asking questions and stop raising voice. I will fight this battle. I will not stop I will keep asking questions to Arvind Kejriwal.
Simultaneously, Bagga rejected the Punjab Police's claim that the Punjab Police had said that he had been asked to join the investigation several times, but he refused to comply. Bagga said that, 'I have already answered all the summons issued.' Delhi BJP unit chief Adesh Gupta has accused Arvind Kejriwal of misusing the Punjab Police to arrest Bagga on false charges.
Bagga's lawyer Sanket Gupta told the media that Punjab Police has no right to arrest Bagga in Delhi. After being taken into custody, Bagga's father lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police. Gupta also said that while appearing before the magistrate, Bagga alleged that he suffered two injuries on his back and shoulder during the arrest. The lawyer said that Bagga would appear in a Delhi court on Monday to give his statement.
