Bhopal: At present, the prices of petrol and diesel are increasing all over the country. Prices have skyrocketed in every state. Today, in many districts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the price of a litre of petrol has exceeded 100 rupees. In the capital Delhi, the price of petrol has increased by 31 paise and the price of diesel by 33 paise. This is the 13th time in this month when prices increased. In the midst of all this, BJP Minister Vishwas Sarang from Madhya Pradesh has made a tweet, due to which he becomes the part of discussions. BJP Minister Vishwas Sarang has congratulated PM Modi for increasing prices of petrol and diesel in a tweet.
He has also given an argument behind giving this congratulation. Vishwas believes, 'PM Modi should be congratulated for promoting the use of solar and electric energy.' In his tweet, he said, "Due to the price increase, the government intends to run electric and solar energy vehicles in the country. The price of petrol and diesel depends on the international market, so there is such an increase.” The price of petrol in Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh is Rs 100.25 per litre and the price of diesel is Rs 90.35.
Talking about Madhya Pradesh, a tax of Rs 4.5 litre and a cess on petrol is levied here with 33%. The tax on diesel is 23% and Rs 3 per litre and 1% cess. The price of branded petrol, which taxed more, has gone up to Rs 100 per litre in states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
