Andhra Pradesh : On Friday, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao urged public representatives and officials to work together to enhance the Gajuwaka constituency.
The minister told a press conference on Friday that since the creation of their government, development and welfare programmes have been implemented. He said that land acquisition issues relating to the steel mill, APIIC, and Gangavaram port have been in the area for a long time. "It is a rapidly growing sector, and problems must be addressed in a timely manner," he said. "I urge on all public authorities and representatives to work together for the development of the Gajuwaka constituency," he continued.
Legislator Thippala Nagireddy also spoke at the news conference, saying that residents of the constituency are working hard to improve the area as a whole.
The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has given top emphasis to infrastructure development in the Gajuwaka constituency, a vital industrial region in the GVMC, according to District Collector Dr A. Mallikarjuna.
"Representatives from the public were asked to bring issues in their areas to the conference's attention. They're being discussed, and steps are being done to address them "he stated. T Nagireddy, a legislator, said the minister was working on a plan to address important concerns in Gajuwaka with the cooperation of officials.
"All those who have been handed government land have been advised to resolve their issues as soon as possible. The focus should be on addressing pollution and traffic issues, and the Gangavaram and APIIC issues should be handled as soon as possible "he stated
