VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has set a target for winning the YSR Congress in all of the state assembly seats in the 2024 elections. He has urged party leaders to spend eight months with the people so as to build the party's ties with the people.
On Wednesday, the CM spoke at the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prubhatvam workshop in Tadepalli for party functionaries such as ministers, regional coordinators, MLAs, district party presidents, and others.
"Nothing is difficult to achieve if we have the will, commitment, and willingness to work hard," he said, recalling the YSRC's landslide victories in the assembly elections and then the local body elections.
Gadapa Gadapa ki Prabuthvam is a programme that will last for the next eight months. Apart from that, the YSRC will have a workshop every month to discuss the results of the programmes based on public comments.
Every secretariat should conduct a door-to-door campaign for 2-3 days, from morning to dusk, he said. The objective is to visit ten secretariats per month, with fieldwork lasting at least 20 days per month.
