Andhra Pradesh- Amaravati: The opposition Telugu Desam Party members yelled and interrupted Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan's customary address to the joint session of the two Houses of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature on Monday.

There was a ruckus when TDP members stormed in. They tore up the Governor's speech copies and threw them into the air. Harichandan went on with his speech. Members of the TDP group recited, "Governor, go back." They said that he didn't protect the constitutional institutions.

The TDP members, on the other hand, walked out of the governor's speech about half way through.Later, the main opposition members tried to squat in the lobbies of the Assembly, but the House Marshals didn't like it, which led to a fight. Those who belong to the TDP group won, so they sat down in the lobby and shouted slogans against the governor.

It took the Marshals about an hour to make sure that the protesting TDP members didn't cross the security cordon. The Governor was then taken out of the legislature building.
