Every person dreams of getting a good job so that he can comfortably fulfill his and his family's needs. This is why people work hard since childhood so that they can have a great career. But some people always keep trying new things in search of better opportunities. One such case is going viral on social media these days, in which an engineer from Bangalore has received an offer of three times more salary from Sweden, but still he is confused about whether he should accept this offer or not.
Salary offered three times more than Sweden
According to media reports, a mechanical engineer from Bangalore shared his story in a post. He wrote, "I am 31 years old, married and do not have children at the moment. I work as a mechanical engineer in Bangalore. My current salary is around Rs 1,30,000 per month after tax deduction. After rent, money sent to parents and other expenses, I am left with around Rs 50,000-60,000, but most of it goes into EMIs, which I will pay off by next year."
Along with this, he told that he has got an offer of SEK 50,000 (about Rs 3.9 lakh per month) from Helsingborg, Sweden, but he is confused about whether he should accept this offer or not.
People's reactions
As soon as this post came on the internet, it did not take long to go viral. People started giving their opinions. One user commented, "You should not shift to Sweden, you will have to pay almost 50% tax there." At the same time, another user advised, "Stay in your country, even if the income is a little less, but the fun of life here is different."
Apart from this, many users commented on this post and gave their opinion. Some people were in favor of going to Sweden, while some advised to stay in Bengaluru.
Looking for a good opportunity or stability?
This case clearly shows that sometimes people get confused even after getting an offer of a higher salary. Especially when it comes to shifting to another country, changes in language, culture and lifestyle also make the decision difficult.
