Haryana: In anticipation of the upcoming state assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled its new initiative, 'Kejriwal Ki 5 Guarantee,' on Saturday. The launch event featured prominent party leaders, including Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Sandeep Pathak, and Sushil Gupta.
Central to the initiative is the promise of free, round-the-clock electricity. AAP leaders committed to eliminating all outstanding domestic power bills, ending power outages, and providing consistent electricity similar to the systems implemented in Delhi and Punjab.
Healthcare is another major focus of AAP’s pledge. The party aims to offer free, high-quality healthcare by setting up Mohalla Clinics in rural and urban areas, upgrading existing government hospitals, and constructing new ones. Their plan includes providing comprehensive free medical services, including tests, medications, surgeries, and treatments, to reduce financial strain on residents.
In education, AAP promises to enhance the quality of government schools to make them preferable over private institutions. The party also plans to tackle the so-called education mafia and regulate excessive fee hikes in private schools.
Additionally, AAP has pledged a monthly stipend of Rs 1,000 to all mothers and sisters in Haryana. To address unemployment, the party vows to create job opportunities for every jobless youth, highlighting their past successes in generating employment in Punjab and Delhi as a model.
