Delhi police arrested A 24-year-old guy on suspicion of killing a builder/property dealer who reportedly failed to deliver a consignment of pistols to him. DCP Crime Rohit Meena said, "Amit Goel, a renowned builder from the Paschim Vihar area, was going to get into his car on July 2 at 2:45 pm when an unknown boy abruptly opened fire and shot and killed him. The attacker then ran away from the scene." Amit Goel, who is now deceased, was previously involved in two incidents involving weapons. Kaala Sahuwasia Gang is a member of the accused, Begampur resident Deepanshu Sharma alias Deepak. He is also a close associate of the infamous mobster Bhupender alias Monu Dariapur alias Tampu, who was killed on Sunday by rival thug Sonu Dariapur, police said. Later, the police found the abandoned car used in the crime. Subsequently, a team was constituted to nab the accused. One Deepanshu's involvement was mentioned in the feedback. The lead was then developed into actionable information and the car being utilised by Deepanshu was discovered after excellent technical analysis and scanning CCTV footage. On Saturday, the location of Deepanshu was zeroed in Rohtak, Haryana. Goel was earlier involved in two cases related to arms. He was a professional shooter who abused the import regulations intended for Indian shooters by bringing in high-tech automatic weapons under the pretext that they were for sporting purposes, police informed.
