New Delhi: A man allegedly slit his wife's throat in Delhi's Jafrabad area on suspicion of having an illicit relationship, police said on Sunday. In this case, the police arrested the accused and his friend. The police had received information that the body was lying in a pool of blood in the house on street number 13. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and found that there were knives on the woman's neck and body. After which the body was immediately taken into custody and sent for post-mortem and started investigating the case. During the investigation, the police came to know that there was no theft or robbery in the house. Due to this direct suspicion went to husband Shahdin. Then the police came to know from the people around that the deceased woman's relationship with her husband Shahdin was not going well. This deepened the suspicion of the police. The police arrested the accused along with his friend a day after the murder. The accused has confessed to the police that he suspected his wife's behaviour. He had explained it to her many times but she had no effect on her. On Saturday evening, September 17, he reached home drunk and a dispute started between husband and wife.
