They told that they started taking couples therapy even before marriage, so that they could understand each other better. Shibani said, "We started couples therapy about six months before the engagement. It was not because we had any problems, but we felt it was a smart step for our relationship." Therapy continued even after marriage: The most special thing is that they had an appointment for couples therapy even two days after the wedding. Shibani jokingly said, "We got married on Monday and we were at the therapist on Wednesday. The therapist was also surprised and asked, 'Why have you guys come here? You got married just 24 hours ago.'" Why do Farhan and Shibani consider therapy necessary: Shibani further said that she considers couples therapy to be like going to the gym, which has to be done regularly. She said, "Many times we go to the therapist and we have nothing to say, but there are some days when we need more time than normal." Waiting for therapy to resolve disputes: Shibani also revealed that whenever they have an argument, they wait for Wednesday when they have their therapy session. She says, "I want to resolve everything at home, but Farhan says let's meet the therapist on Wednesday and discuss it."
