New Delhi: A case of brutal killing of more than a dozen dogs in jogabai area of the country's capital, Delhi, has come to light. It is being told that the dogs were tortured a lot before they were killed, even the eyes of some of the dogs have been removed. On Tuesday, Divya Puri, co-founder of Karan Puri Foundation, lodged a complaint in this regard at Jamia Nagar police station. After which the police have started an investigation. Divya Puri, who works for animal rights, has stated in her complaint that a volunteer working with her had been making calls continuously for 15 days. Volunteer says there is a group of 8 to 10 year olds in Jogabai Extension, killing dogs and their children every day. The group catches the destitute dogs and their children and takes them to Dhobighat and brutally kills them there. Divya reached the police station on Tuesday and lodged a complaint with the Jamia Nagar police station. Divya said that her volunteer told that around 12 dogs and their children were missing. The bodies of many have been found. Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
