What did Kaushik Ganguly say after winning the National Award?

Director Kaushik Ganguly 's film "Kaberi Antardhan" has won the Best Bengali Feature Film Award at the 70th National Film Awards. He not only directed the film, but also acted in it himself. He expressed happiness over this victory, but at the same time expressed his concern about the tragic incident in Kolkata. The recent rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College has shaken the entire country. Kaushik Ganguly said in a conversation with the media  , "I humbly accept the National Award for Best Bengali Feature Film for 'Kaberi Antardhan'. I am grateful that our team has received this honor. But, given the ongoing situation in Bengal, I cannot celebrate this success."

Kaushik Ganguly further said that the story of his film revolves around the struggle of two daughters. He said, "After so many years, when there is so much turmoil in Bengal, it feels very strange to talk about the same issue again. When a daughter has to face such heinous atrocities, the mind gets disturbed. When you hear about the heart-wrenching incident that happened in RG Kar Hospital, it feels even more strange. That is why we are not in the mood for any kind of celebration."

There is outrage in the entire city over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. People have come out on the streets and are protesting strongly against this incident. Doctors across the country are also raising their voices against this incident and demanding justice.

While protests are going on in Bengal, Kannada superstar Rishab Shetty has won the Best Actor award at the 70th National Film Awards. Along with this, Nithya Menon and Manasi Parekh have been given the Best Actress award. The Best Hindi Film award has been given to the film Gulmohar . Overall, Kaushik Ganguly's film has made a big mark at the national level, but given the current situation, this is not the time to celebrate, but to unite and raise voice against social injustice.
