Police yesterday registered a case against 75 people and arrested two of them for the attack four policemen, who were asked not to block an area during Holi celebrations in Maharajnagar village. In the attack 4 police man were allegedly injured on Thursday.
A police team was in the village during Holi including incharge of police outpost Sub-inspector Jitender Singh and constables Gaurav, Jayvir and Praveen -- were injured in the incident. They asked the revellers not to block an area following which irate villagers started pelting stones on them.
However, two accused Samerpal and Charansingh have been arrested, while police is searching for the others.
