Dehradun: A horse 'Raja', who played a key role in the Haridwar Ghoda Police Line in Uttarakhand, died at the age of 24. Raja, who served at two Mahakumbhs, two Ardh-Kumbhs, and many important 'Snans' of Haridwar, had been unwell for a long time. Raja, who had served in the department for 20.5 years, was given a final farewell with state honors. On receiving the news of Raja's death, SSP Haridwar Ajay Singh reached the Horse Line Bairagi Camp and along with other police officers bid farewell to Raja. Raja received training from PTC Moradabad in 2003. After the training, Raja was inducted into the police department. Due to the farewell, police officers were present in large numbers.
