Vishwa Hindu Parishad is all set to begin a new cycle of recruitments by engaging 5,000 new ‘religious soldiers’. They will be selected from among trained Bajrang Dal activists and will be entrusted with curtailing cow smuggling and love jihad. The decision came out from a meeting held between 14 to 16 where Pravin Togadia, party's International President was also present. “Five thousand religious soldiers will be recruited in Aligarh district for which only those Bajrang Dal activists will be eligible who have completed bravery training. These soldiers will control cow smuggling and love jihad. They will also protect Hindu boys and girls, maths, temples, sant samaj and the country.” said Sectional chief Ram Kumar. Earlier, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and its youth wing Bajrang Dal on Monday distributed trishuls to 75 youths in a ceremony held at Gandhinagar in Gujarat.
