Bhopal: The second phase of the vaccination campaign in Madhya Pradesh has begun today. Now, the first and second doses will be administered to the people at more than 7,000 centres on 1st and 3rd July. Today there is a target of vaccinating 10 lakh people. In this regard, 2 vaccination centres have been set up in each ward in Bhopal to prepare for this mega campaign. In the meantime, one can register at the vaccination centre by showing any ID. The district administration had set a target of vaccinating 50,000 people, but the administration could get only 30,000 vaccines. The vaccination has started from 9.30 am today and is scheduled to continue till evening. State Vaccination Officer Dr Santosh Shukla says, "The vaccine will be administered at more than 7,000 vaccination centres on July 1 and 3. On 2nd July, vaccination will be as usual. A target of 10 lakh vaccines has been set on July 1.'' 2 vaccination centres have been set up in every ward of Bhopal and offline registration is also being done at these centres. The Government has given 30,000 doses to the Bhopal administration, whereas the administration had set a target of 50,000 doses. In Madhya Pradesh, 33 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported last Wednesday. In addition, the total number of people infected with the virus in the state so far has reached 7,89,804. 15 more people have died of corona in the last 24 hours in the State and so far the death toll due to coronavirus in the state has gone up to 8,969.
