Delhi's opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had demanded to run a bulldozer on the illegal construction done by the accused of Jahangirpuri violence. On behalf of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation, a letter has been written to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of North West in this regard, demanding the deployment of 400 Delhi Police personnel to handle law and order. It is noteworthy that Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta had also written a letter to the Mayor of North MCD regarding this.
