Currents run in many homes due to falling high-tension wires on transformers, mother-son death, many injured

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, a high voltage current of electricity was spread in several houses due to the collapse of the high tension wire in Pratapgarh district on the village transformer. In this incident, the mother and son were scorched and killed in a house. In many other houses, 7 people were burnt. There was a  long panic in the village till the power supply from the Powerhouse was stopped.

Jagat Bahadur Yadav, son of Shripal Yadav resident of Dandi Village, who falls under Jethwara police station area, is putting up a 10 kg transformer of electricity in front of the house. This is the supply of electricity to the village. At around two and a half on Friday night, the wire of the high tension line of electricity coming out of the transformer broke and fell on the transformer and the equipment started burning due to high voltage supply in people's homes. Seeing this, Jagat Bahadur (40) went to turn off the power switch, and he himself stuck to the board.

His mother Lakhpati (60) was also in the grip of the current in trying to close the power switch. Jagat Bahadur's wife Suman (36), daughters Neha (12), and Nidhi (13) were also badly burnt. While in other village houses, Vinod Tiwari's son Rithik (20), Lalji's son Rajesh (22), Anil Yadav's wife Gita (35), and Badelal Yadav (55) were injured in the grip of the current. Lakhpati died at home. Jagat Bahadur and Suman were taken to District Hospital for treatment. Where Jagat Bahadur died. Suman and four others are undergoing treatment at CHC District hospital. In every house from electric bulbs to fridges and TVs were burnt.
