Lucknow: Journalist Sudhir Saini was killed in broad daylight on January 26 (Wednesday) in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district. Sudhir was a journalist in 'Shah Times'. Jahangir, Farman and Mannan were accused of murder. The police have arrested Jahangir and Farman, while Mannan is said to be absconding. An Alto car has also been recovered from the incident spot. A case has been registered against the three accused under Section 302. Talking about the incident, SSP, Saharanpur, Akash Tomar said, "A man named Sudhir, a resident of Chikalana on Chilkana Road in Thana Kotwali Dehat, was coming towards Saharanpur on his bike. There were 3 people in an Alto car coming with them. They had a dispute among themselves over the overtake. The occupants of the car assaulted Sudhir. Sudhir died of injuries sustained during the assault. The car driver then fled. Eyewitnesses gave the number of the car, based on which two accused, including the car, have been arrested. Another legal action is being taken. ' A complaint of the incident has been lodged by Teluram, the father of the deceased Sudhir. Saharanpur SSP IPS Akash Tomar termed it as a road rage incident. Talking to the media, he said that the third absconding accused Mannan will also be arrested soon. At the same time, strict legal action will be taken.
