Noida: Police in Noida's Thana Phase-2 have arrested seven of its members, including two women while exposing a gang that illegally recovered people from people in a honeytrap. DCP (Zone II) Harish Chandra said that on January 14, a man named Mohammad Tausif filed a report in the phase-II police station that someone phoned his brother Nasrat on January 13 and called him on FNG Road. According to police, the victim said that on the night of January 13, a call was made on his mobile that Nasrat was detained and assaulted by some people in Muradnagar in Ghaziabad District, and is demanding Rs 2 lakh by making videos in case of rape of a woman. DCP said that on the basis of the information, the police registered a case and started investigating the case. The police freed Murad Nagar hostage Nasrat and took him hostage, matin, lawyer, Rashid, Imran, Ashraf, and two women, Roshan and Shabnam. The police official said, 20,000 rupees have been recovered from the victim's Innova car, mobile phone, three mobile phones used in the incident as well as the miscreants from the victim. He said, during interrogation, the police have come to know that the gang traps people in the trap of honeytrap, and they cheat a hefty sum of money.
