Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, 3 girls died after eating lai-Namkeen in the Unchahar Kotwali area of Rae Bareli district. The family members had dug a pit and buried the bodies without informing the police. On getting information, SDM Vinay Mishra along with the police force rushed to the village to meet the victim's family. Police dug a pit and took out the bodies and sent them for postmortem.
The incident took place in Mirza Inayatullahpur village under the Unchahar Kotwali area. Naveen Kumar Singh is a farmer by profession. In the morning, three girls in Naveen's house had eaten lai-Namkeen. After some time the trio started vomiting. The family members rushed the girls to the district hospital for treatment when their health deteriorated. 2 girls died during treatment. The family members had cremated the two deceased girls at Gokana Ghat. The deceased girls were named Pari 9 years, Pihu is 5 years old, while Vidhi 7 years died in the hospital.
SDM Unchahar Vinay Kumar Mishra said three daughters had eaten salt in Naveen Kumar's house in the village. After which the three children vomited quite rapidly. Two children had already died. One of whom is 8 years old and one is 4 years old. The middle daughter method, who was undergoing treatment, also died. The bodies have been sent for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death of the children.
