Lucknow: Police have arrested four youths for firing during celebrations in the premises of a restaurant in the Miranpur police station area of Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Officials have informed in this regard on Saturday. Police said, one of the accused Amit Kumar was firing in the air with two licensed weapons outside a restaurant near Delhi-Pauri highway on Friday evening while three of his friends were dancing to the sound of bullets. Miranpur police station in-charge Dnyaneshwar Bodh has informed that a case has been registered against Kumar under the Arms Act while his friends have been arrested for disturbing the peace. He said Kumar's rifle and revolver have been recovered. However, the police did not say whether the accused were celebrating the New Year there.
