Universities and colleges in Madhya Pradesh will reopen with 50% attendance on September 15 after being closed for months because of the COVID-9 epidemic, an official said on Saturday. According to the source, the state has at least 1,400 institutions and 56 universities with over 13.5 lakh students, two lakh of them are freshers. 'From September 15, all instructors and non-teaching personnel have been directed to conduct courses with 50% of students,' said state Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav in a statement. He stated that certifications of having received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination are required for teaching, non-teaching staff, and students. Apart from that, COVID -19 appropriate behaviour on college and university campuses must be strictly followed, according to the minister. Students will continue to take online lessons, and administrators have been instructed to create a timetable for both online and offline sessions, he added. Libraries, hostels, and the mess will reopen in stages in accordance with COVID-19 standards, according to Yadav.
