UGC NET 2023 Exam Date Out: See Subject Wise Exam Schedule

The UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) for "Assistant Professor" and "Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor" is being administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) starting today in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The test will be given starting today and on February 22, 23, and 24 of 2023.

The official website for candidates taking the exam is ugcnet.nta.nic.in. How to get the admit card to download:

Go to "Candidate Activities" on the home page.  After that, select "Release of Admit Card for UGC NET December 2022-Phase-I" from the list of options.

Applicants must now log in using their application number and birthdate after a new page has opened. On the screen, the UGC NET December 2023 admit card will appear.

Candidates must have a copy of their UGC NET admit card and a passport-size photo with them on the day of the exam in order to sit for it. Without an admitted card and a legitimate photo ID, no candidate will be permitted to show up for the exam.

The exam dates for Phase 2 have not been released yet but it can tentatively be released by February 23 or before. The Phase 1 exam will be taken for 57 subjects. The UGC NET 2023 exam for the December cycle will be conducted till March 10, 2023, in different phases
