UGC Circular On Scholarships For Indian Students, Know more

Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering scholarship for Indian students to undertake Diploma, Undergraduate, Master’s Degree courses under Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for the academic session 2021-2022. Interested applicants can submit application forms along with all required documents in soft copy directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Brunei Darussalam, University Grants Commission (UGC), said in its circular.

As per official sources, the academic year begins July/August 2021. Applications are open to citizens of, but not limited to, ASEAN, Commonwealth and OIC member countries. UGC has clarified that there is no financial liability on the part of the Commission for this programme.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18-25 for Undergraduate and Diploma programmes and must not exceed the age of 35 for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programmes on the 31st July 2021. Notably, the British Council is also offering scholarships in partnership with UK Universities aimed at benefitting women from South Asian countries including India. A wide range of programs in subjects like Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics are being offered by eight UK Universities to women from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.
