Srinagar: Security forces killed two terrorists in an encounter in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police informed on Saturday that five security personnel including an officer were injured during this encounter. According to the report, security forces started a cordon and search operation in Adigam village of Devsar area early in the morning, after which the terrorists started firing. During this, Additional SP (Traffic) Mumtaz Ali was injured by bullets. Four other security personnel involved in the encounter have also been injured. Police said that after the terrorists were killed, a large-scale search operation is being carried out in the area to identify the killed terrorists and their organization. This encounter in Kulgam lasted for about 12 hours, in which both the terrorists were killed. After the encounter, the security forces have recovered weapons and ammunition from the terrorists. Earlier, on September 20, an encounter also took place between security forces and terrorists in Shikari area under Chasana police station in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, a video of an encounter between security forces and terrorists also surfaced in Baramulla, in which a terrorist was trying to escape while firing, but the security forces surrounded him and he fell down injured. He dropped his gun, but he still tried to pick it up, but he was killed in a shower of bullets.
