Daughter kidnapped, police did not file a complaint, helpless father reached court

Agartala: Tripura High Court has given instructions to the police  to save a minor girl allegedly abducted by three miscreants. The girl was abducted on July 18 from Belonia village in South Tripura. While hearing the case, Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice A. Lodha have instructed the police to find out the abducted girl as soon as possible, as well as have asked the state government to reply in this matter.

The victim's grandfather had lodged a complaint in the Belonia police station for the disappearance of the minor, following which the police immediately resumed action. While giving information in this case, the police have said that they have arrested two accused in this case, but the main accused is still out of the grip of the police and they have not been able to find the girl yet.

The victim's family accused the police that only a week after the incident, the girl's father met the Deputy Commissioner of Police of South Tripura and requested to find the minor girl as soon as possible, but the Deputy Commissioner of Police ignored her. Had done and also treated the father badly. After this, the victim's father had filed a case in the High Court regarding the girl's not being detected yet.
