Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, cases of crime against women and girls are increasing. The case of gangrape of a 13-year-old minor girl in Greater Noida has come to light. Three youngsters have been accused of raping the victim. Briefing the court on Thursday, officials informed that the accused have been taken into custody and further action is underway. Police said, the three accused and the victim live in the same locality Dadri and are familiar with each other. The DCP (Women safety) of Gautam Budh Nagar, Brinda Shukla said the case is reported on Tuesday. The girl's mother arrived at the police station on Thursday, after which an FIR has been lodged and the suspects are being interrogated in custody. DCP said, "According to the woman, three people living in the locality have allegedly raped the girl. During the investigation, it is learned that the accused is familiar with the girl and asked a 12-year-old boy to take the girl to his home where the incident was carried out. " The police official said the victim has been sent for medical tests and further action is being taken in the matter. According to officials, an FIR has been lodged in section 376 B (gang rape) of IPC and sections of POSCO Act.
