Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Secretary Shakeel Ahmed Siddiqui has issued an order to conduct a survey of unrecognised madrasas in the state. The order said that by September 10, a team will be formed for this survey, in which the sub-district magistrate of the concerned tehsil, district basic education officer and district minority welfare officer will participate. This team will survey the madrasas under the direction of the Additional District Magistrate Administration and submit a report to the DM through the Additional District Magistrate Administration. The survey will be completed by October 5. By October 10, the report/ compiled data will be presented to the DM through the Additional District Magistrate and by October 25, the District Magistrate will provide the above data and report to the government. Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari said that in the case of the disputed managing committee, in the case of death of personnel in an aided madrasa, post-facto approval will be obtained after appointment by the principal of the madrasa and the district minority welfare officer in the deceased dependent quota and the valid management committee comes into existence. Danish Azad Ansari said that an executive order has been issued to give maternity leave and child care leave to women employees working in madrasas in the light of the rules applicable in the Secondary Education Department and Basic Education Department.
