Rape and murder of a woman doctor in Kolkata sparks nationwide uproar

The incident of rape and murder of a female doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has shocked the entire country. She said that while the Chief Minister had promised that the culprits would be arrested as soon as possible, only one accused has been arrested so far. Allegations of negligence of hospital administration

The victim's mother also made serious allegations against the hospital administration. She said that when she received a call from the hospital, she was told that her daughter was ill. Later, when she reached the hospital, she was allowed to see her daughter's body. She saw that her daughter's pants were open, there was only one piece of cloth on the body, her hand was broken and blood was flowing from her eyes and mouth. Seeing this, she clearly felt that this was not suicide, but murder.

Demand for justice, but no trust in the Chief Minister

The victim's parents said that they had worked very hard to make their daughter a doctor, but she was murdered. They said that they do not trust the Chief Minister because the Kolkata Police did not handle the case properly. They said that at this time they trust the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is investigating the case. They have also handed over a page of their daughter's diary to the CBI.

Supreme Court took cognizance of the matter

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has also taken cognizance of the matter. A bench headed by Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud will hear the case. The body of the female doctor was found in the seminar hall of the hospital on August 9, after which the police arrested a man named Sanjay Roy the next day. Now, the matter is being investigated in depth, and the victim's family is expected to get justice. This incident has shaken not only Kolkata, but the entire country. Now all eyes are on when and how justice will be delivered.
