Big fall in the prices of gold and silver, make sure to check here before buying

Gold and silver also became cheaper in the Indian futures market on Thursday morning due to the ongoing fall in the global market. The price of gold is around Rs 50,600 today, while silver is selling below Rs 57,000. On the Multimoditive Exchange (MCX), the futures price of 24-carat purity gold fell by Rs 171, to Rs 50,631 per 10 grams this morning. Earlier, trading in gold had opened at Rs 50,725, but due to softening of demand, prices soon started declining. Gold is currently trading 0.34 per cent below its previous closing price.

On the lines of gold, the prices of silver are also showing a softening today. Silver futures on the MCX declined by Rs 273 to Rs 56,854 per kg. Earlier, the silver trade had opened at the level of Rs 56,950, but due to softening of demand, prices soon started declining. Silver is currently trading 0.48 per cent lower than its previous close.
