New Delhi: A man was killed by hitting him with bricks and stones over a dispute over honking a car horn in the country's capital, Delhi. In this case, the police have arrested a criminal. Police said that first, the assault took place and then he was hit with bricks and stones. On July 16, at 2.53 pm, police received a call that a man was lying near gate number 2 of Saket metro station and blood was coming out of his mouth. On reaching the spot, the police admitted the victim to Safdarjung Hospital. Due to treatment, the victim Rohit died at around 5 am on July 17. Due to the same investigation, the victim Rohit's friend Rahul told the Delhi Police that on the night of July 16, around 2.30 pm, Rohit along with him and his other friends were parking the car near gate number 2 of Saket metro station. He got into an argument with some of the youths present there. Due to the dispute, those youths hit Rohit with bricks and stones. Police have started the investigation by registering an FIR in the matter. Police said footage from more than 100 CCTV cameras was scanned around the spot. Subsequently, the police nabbed a criminal named Priyanshu. During interrogation, Priyanshu told the police that he was standing with his five friends at the time of the incident when four boys came in the car and they wanted to carve out where they were standing. When they did not move, Rohit started honking the car, an argument broke out on this and then two boys hit Rohit on the head with stones and bricks and they fled.
