Jaipur: The discussion of the violence that broke out in Jodhpur, Rajasthan has also reached the United Nations (UN). A UN spokesperson on Wednesday appealed to the Indian government and agencies to ensure peace and harmony in the city. Along with this, the office of UN chief Antonio Guterres has urged all communities in the city to work together.

According to media reports, ADG (Law and Order) HS Ghumaria has told that even today heavy police force is deployed in the district and curfew has been 'strictly enforced'. He has said that, 'even small incidents in the district are being closely monitored.' So far 97 people have been arrested in cases related to violence.
