Tata Power has entered into a significant 25-year partnership with Noida International Airport (NIA) to integrate renewable energy into its operations. This deal, valued at Rs 550 crore, will focus on supplying solar and wind power and developing vital energy infrastructure. As part of the agreement, Tata Power Trading Company Ltd. will provide 10.8 MW of wind power to NIA, with assets secured from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL). TPREL will also be responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of a 13 MW onsite solar power capacity at the airport. Tata Power Trading Company Ltd. will oversee the renewable energy portfolio and ensure that NIA’s clean energy requirements are met through a detailed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The company has signed two PPAs with NIA for wind and solar power supply. "Partnering with Tata Power is a crucial step in our sustainability efforts.
