Lucknow: A major accident took place late last Thursday night in Thana Beta-2 area of Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh in which a woman doctor was killed. In fact, here, while the woman was travelling with her husband on the 130m road, the steering of her I20 car was locked and the car went out of control and hit the divider. Both were injured in the incident. Police who reached the spot after receiving the information admitted the duo to a local hospital. Here the woman Dr Shikha Bhatnagar was declared brought dead by the doctors. Senior police officials said in a phone call that Shawal Bhatnagar, an engineer at Panchsheel Greens Society in Greater Noida West, lives with wife Shikha Bhatnagar. Shikha was a homeopathic doctor. The husband and wife were going somewhere by car for some work late on Thursday night. Meanwhile, husband Shailav was driving the car. On his way back, the steering of his car suddenly locked near the Achhar police post on 130 m road. This caused the control car to hit the divider. The wife sitting on the same level as the driver's seat was seriously injured in the accident. Husband Shailab did not suffer many injuries. The airbags did not open due to the non-wearing of seat belts, leaving Shikha seriously injured. Shailav first called 112. The number did not appear, then he called one of his friends, and he informed the police. On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and the injured couple was admitted to the nearby Kailash Hospital. Shikha Bhatnagar has been declared brought dead by doctors here. Meanwhile, husband Shaiwal Bhatnagar was discharged after first aid.
