Even after prohibition on any kind of gadget in the jail, selfie of five inmates went viral on the social media with prison authorities ordering an inquiry.
Jail Superintendent Rakesh Singh said, a selfie of the five undertrial inmates, who were arrested in murder cases, has been uploaded on Facebook by them. The selfie has gone viral on the social media, he added. After complaints about extortion calls being made by inmates, 22 mobile phones and 30 SIM cards were seized from the control of prisoners by authorities on March 13.
