Bhopal: Sadhu and Saints have been furious over senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh's objectionable remarks on Hindutva and beef. Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya said that the former Madhya Pradesh CM's mental balance has been disturbed. He said Congress is in a bad shape today due to similar leaders. Raju Das termed it as an uneasy statement for cheap popularity and said Congress has gone into a pit.
He also said that the Congress party is on the verge of collapse due to leaders who disrupts Hindus, eternal culture, deities, saints and Hindutva. He described the cow as revered in Hindu and eternal culture and asked Digvijay Singh how a cow cannot be our mother. He said Thakur Ji is fed Gaugrass even before prasad. He said that in our religion, the cow will always be a mother and revered.
Mahant Paramhans Das of the ascetic cantonment also said that the Vedas have described the cow as the mother of the whole world. He said scientists also compare cow's milk to mother's milk. Mahant Paramhans Das, Hinduism and Hindutva are the same. He said that the Hindu who is a Hindu will also be Hindutva. He enumerated examples that there cannot be a woman without womanhood, a man without manhood, and a human being without humanity, just as there cannot be a Hindu without Hindutva. He recalled that the Congress had even described Lord Shriram as imaginary, so how would he consider the cow god? He described the cow as the mother of 100 crore religious leaders and said that she is the mother of the best. Describing the Congress leaders as mentally strange, he said they should be kept in mental hospitals.
